汉朝中山李氏兄妹三人到京城长安发展，李延年进入皇宫乐府，他向汉武帝推荐他妹妹是绝世佳人，一见倾城，再顾倾国。汉武帝十分高兴就召见李延年的妹妹并封她为夫人，生下昌邑王刘贺，汉武帝十分宠爱这个绝色夫人。
