唐朝大臣魏光上书唐玄宗要求把魏征整理修订的《类礼》列为经书。唐玄宗命元澹校阅，右丞相张说认为已经有郑玄作注成为经书。元澹写《释疑》表明自己观点：郑玄的注过时了，魏征不是下棋人，他是旁观者所以注解得比较真实。
