（334—416）东晋僧。雁门楼烦人，俗姓贾。幼好学，博综六经，尤善老庄。年二十一，师从道安，精般若性空之学。晋孝武帝太元六年入庐山，结庐讲学。又建莲社，倡弥陀净土法门，卜居三十余年，足不出山。后人尊为净土宗初祖。撰有《沙门不敬王者论》等。
