孙传庭（1593年-1643年），字伯雅，又字白谷，代州镇武卫（今山西代县）人，明朝名将。万历四十七年（1619年）进士。崇祯十五年（1642年）任兵部侍郎，总督陕西。次年升为兵部尚书（改称督师）。带兵镇压李自成、张献忠民变。由于时疫流行，粮草不足，兵员弹药缺少，朝廷催战，无奈草率出战，后兵败，在陕西潼关战死，马革裹尸，年约51岁。《明史》称“传庭死，而明亡矣”。乾隆四十一年（1776年），清廷追谥“忠靖”。
