冲围一舸来如飞。众军属目停鼓鼙。船头立者持降旗。
都护遣我来致词。我军力竭势不支。零丁绝岛危乎危。
龟鳖小竖何能为。岛中残卒皆疮痍。其馀鬼妻兵家儿。
锅底无饭枷无衣。纥干冻雀寒复饥。六千人命悬如丝。
我今死战彼安归。此岛如城海如池。横排各舰珠累累。
有炮百尊枪千枝。亦有弹药如山齐。全军旗鼓我所司。
本愿两军争雄雌。化为沙虫为肉糜。与船存亡死不辞。
今日悉索供指麾。乃为生命求恩慈。指天为正天鉴之。
中将许诺信不欺。诘朝便为受降期。两军雷动欢声驰。
燐青月黑阴风吹。鬼伯催促不得迟。浓薰芙蓉倾深卮。
前者阖棺后与尸。一将两翼三参随。两军雨泣咸惊疑。
已降复死死为谁？可怜将军归骨时。白幡飘飘丹旐垂。

黄遵宪（1848年4月27日～1905年3月28日）晚清诗人，外交家、政治家、教育家。字公度，别号人境庐主人，汉族客家人，广东省梅州人，光绪二年举人，历充师日参赞、旧金山总领事、驻英参赞、新加坡总领事，戊戌变法期间署湖南按察使，助巡抚陈宝箴推行新政。工诗，喜以新事物熔铸入诗，有“诗界革新导师”之称。黄遵宪有《人镜庐诗草》、《日本国志》、《日本杂事诗》。被誉为“近代中国走向世界第一人”。
