世界随转轮，成坏各有劫。适值倾覆时，万法不必说。
以君循吏才，三年官于越。无端桴鼓鸣，伏莽寇窃发。
山县斗大城，城头黑云压。纷纷彼狼心，跃跃欲猪突。
君昔理常平，手曾治大猾。鸮音不能革，生性成梼杌。
到此播流言，官实通贼牒。作贼兼作官，满城耳喧聒。
城中西教徒，积恶鬼罗刹。闪闪苍鹰眼，磨刀咸欲杀。
公知事不可，大声作瞋喝。反激蚩蚩怒，一霎尽灭裂。
非无防御使，蠢蠢怯如鳖。噤不发一言，坐视民劫夺。
此客甫断头，彼奴复流血。乱刃白雨点，混杀到手滑。
狾犬狂号跳，奔马肆啼齧。但是县衙人，一见軏摧捽。
郎当子若孙，衣破脚不袜。同寮不肯留，望门走托钵。
指名遍搜牢，牵发互辫结。驱羊人屠肆，执棰尚鞭挞。
天堂变地狱，肉花碎片割。同时遭茶毒，彼此造何业？
君当就缚时，自知当永诀。上念我佛恩，如何得解脱？
下伤我母慈，如何保生活？可怜八十母，萧条几黄发。
追忆六年前，春酒寿筵设。君披宫锦袍，手执先朝笏。
公瑾与伯符，同年小一月。我歌寿人曲，登堂来拜谒。
孙曾六七枝，一一芝兰茁。最小耳银珰，靧面白胜雪。
谁料采衣舞，回旋仅一瞥？覆巢无完卵，雏鸟鸣亦绝。
闻今既半年，未悉子存殁。家人畏惊倒，相戒咸结舌。
入则围红裙，出乃易墨绖。母尚倚闾望，朝夕拜菩萨。
念子归何迟，此别太契阔。岂知望子台，早既堆白骨。
以君精佛理，夙通一切法。明知入世事，如露如泡沫。
佛力犹有尽，何况身生灭。将头临刃时，定知不惊怛。
独怪耶稣教，瓣香曾未爇。如何偕教徒，一例受磨折？
观君遭万变，已足空一切。只有黄鸟歌，哀吟代呜咽！

黄遵宪（1848年4月27日～1905年3月28日）晚清诗人，外交家、政治家、教育家。字公度，别号人境庐主人，汉族客家人，广东省梅州人，光绪二年举人，历充师日参赞、旧金山总领事、驻英参赞、新加坡总领事，戊戌变法期间署湖南按察使，助巡抚陈宝箴推行新政。工诗，喜以新事物熔铸入诗，有“诗界革新导师”之称。黄遵宪有《人镜庐诗草》、《日本国志》、《日本杂事诗》。被誉为“近代中国走向世界第一人”。
