苍天已死黄天立，倒海翻云百神集。一时天醉帝梦酣，举国沉迷同失日。
芒芒荡荡国昏荒，冥冥蒙蒙黑甜乡。我坐斗室几匝月，面壁惟拜灯光王。
时不辨朝夕，地不识南北。离离火焰青，漫漫劫灰黑。
如渡大漠沙尽黄，如探严穴黝难测。化尘尘亦缁，望气气皆墨。
色象无可名，眼鼻若并塞。岂有盘古氏，出世天再辟。
又非阿脩罗，搅海水上击。忽然黑暗无间堕落阿鼻狱，又惊恶风吹船飘至罗杀国。
出门寸步不能行，九衢偏地铃铎声。车马鸡栖匿不出，楼台蜃气中含腥。
天罗磕匝偶露缺，上有红轮色如血。暖暖曾无射目光，凉凉未觉炙手热。
吾闻地球绕日日绕球，今之英属遍五洲。亦日所照无不到，光华远被天尽头。
鸟知都城不见日，人人反抱天堕忧。又闻地气蒸腾化为雨，巧算能知雨点数。
此邦本以水为家，况有灶烟十万户。倘将四海之雾铢积寸算来，或尚不如伦敦城中雾。

黄遵宪（1848年4月27日～1905年3月28日）晚清诗人，外交家、政治家、教育家。字公度，别号人境庐主人，汉族客家人，广东省梅州人，光绪二年举人，历充师日参赞、旧金山总领事、驻英参赞、新加坡总领事，戊戌变法期间署湖南按察使，助巡抚陈宝箴推行新政。工诗，喜以新事物熔铸入诗，有“诗界革新导师”之称。黄遵宪有《人镜庐诗草》、《日本国志》、《日本杂事诗》。被誉为“近代中国走向世界第一人”。
