一日双餐麦糜食，高梁黍稷并相餩。莫嫌粗粝难下咽，力倍南人健脚力。
奔腾掀播独轮车，愁煞相冲误堕渠。晴日骄阳忧太酷，阴云又虑湿尘袪。
民心狉獉能知辱，士好廉隅多款曲。尚气每多成讼端，破家毁宅连亲属。
吾家泛宅一逾年，初喜民情弱可怜。黑夜鸣锣阻捐产，温纯风俗亦移迁。

字以和，号寄舫，以同知分发浙江不赴。秉性恬憺，收藏书法名画，精于鉴别，喜山水，得元人超逸之致，筑别业于宅畔，名曰“适园”，园中画室曰“易画轩”，与人约画者，必以颂诗相易，一时四方名人投赠，题赠诗文成编行世。平日以书画吟咏自娱。著有《适园自娱草》。子羲唐丙戌进士，工部主事。
