直道焉不黜，士生常苦贫。
此语闻则旧，今见贤丈人。
三十取科第，初走州县尘。
清不受一毫，义或重万钧。
四十虽宦达，五十已邅屯。
有如车脱辐，挽之又埋轮。
南栖穷山中，茅屋无比邻。
瘦田两三棱，过半生荆榛。
年丰苦不饱，况复水旱频。
予常访其居，会合欢无垠。
念此太幽独，欲去弥伤神。
劝君胡不归，清霅多交亲。
旋闻理艅艎，送之彭蠡滨。
今来复相过，三见汀洲春。
虽云故乡乐，还似枯池鳞。
僧坊避风雨，所赖太守仁。
随衣度伏腊，计俸纾晡晨。
无妻眠抱影，失子泪沾巾。
穹苍杳难知，善人独不振。
公怀自旷达，陶然乐天钧。
作诗拟渊明，委形任屈伸。
所喜樽有酒，且乐圃有筠。
我思得高义，列鼎铺重茵。
馆之华堂上，岁与禾百囷。
使无寒饥顾，便可谢簪绅。
世俗念已薄，此邦非等伦。

（?—1072）宋湖州乌程人，字令举，号白牛居士。仁宗庆历六年进士。嘉祐四年复举制科第一。官著作佐郎。神宗熙宁三年，以屯田员外郎知山阴县。反对“青苗法”，疏谓其法乃“别为一赋以敝海内，非王道之举”，责监南康军盐酒税。有《都官集》等。
