吴丹(744-825)，唐常州晋陵人，字真存。贞元进士，授秘书省正字。累历协律郎、殿中侍御史等职。宪宗元和五年，迁太子舍人。穆宗长庆二年，以驾部郎中充宣慰副使，随韩愈赴镇州宣慰王庭凑。使还，拜谏议大夫。官至谏议大夫。能诗。
