一作慧宣、僧宣。唐初常州弘业寺僧。高祖武德九年(626)撰《释道庆圹铭》。太宗贞观五年(631)撰《释慧頵砖塔铭》。二十二年与苏州僧道恭同奉召至洛阳。卒年不详。生平事迹散见《续高僧传》卷一四与卷一六、《广弘明集》卷三〇、《大慈恩寺三藏法师传》卷七。存诗5首、断句2，《全唐诗》分别收归法宣、慧宣名下。
