译文
迎着风儿，想要劝春光停住脚步。春光却停留在了城南的青草路上。它不愿同岸边的落花一样随流水而去，暂且就成为在泥土上飘舞的飞絮。
看着镜中头发花白的自己，惋惜逝去的时光。人没有辜负春天，是春天自己辜负了自己啊！从梦中醒来才感觉远离了许多忧愁，只是牵挂着风雨中的梨花是否安然。

玉楼春·风前欲劝春光住鉴赏
第一、两句，想要留住春光，然而已是芳草萋萋的暮春时节，开头即点出伤春的意味，为全词奠定了感伤的基调，接着似站在春天的角度说春不甘和落花一样随水而去，了无踪迹，只好暂且作粘于泥上的飞絮。“落花”、“飞絮”均为飘零之物，然在词人笔下，似落花流逝更快，而飞絮尚可在泥上暂存，生动形象地写出了春之不愿逝去的不甘和无奈。运用比喻，用春来比喻自己的青春年华，表达出想要留住青春之感。五、六两句，看到镜中的华发，想自己年华流逝，自己不愿辜负青春，然而无奈的还是辜负了，一事无成，表达出因功业未就而人已老去，美好的青春理想破灭的浓浓愁绪。“梦回人远许多愁”梦中醒来，似已消愁，貌似洒脱，实则更为沉痛，最后一句，以景作结，将这许多的愁都凝聚在风雨中的梨花之上，用风雨梨花象征自己的命运处境，含蓄动人。

辛弃疾（1140－1207），南宋词人。原字坦夫，改字幼安，别号稼轩，汉族，历城（今山东济南）人。出生时，中原已为金兵所占。21岁参加抗金义军，不久归南宋。历任湖北、江西、湖南、福建、浙东安抚使等职。一生力主抗金。曾上《美芹十论》与《九议》，条陈战守之策。其词抒写力图恢复国家统一的爱国热情，倾诉壮志难酬的悲愤，对当时执政者的屈辱求和颇多谴责；也有不少吟咏祖国河山的作品。题材广阔又善化用前人典故入词，风格沉雄豪迈又不乏细腻柔媚之处。由于辛弃疾的抗金主张与当政的主和派政见不合，后被弹劾落职，退隐江西带湖。
