译文
子桓公子敬爱众宾客，宴饮终日都不觉得疲累。
寂静的良夜又去西园游玩，车盖亭亭如飞地前后追随。
明月洒下如练的清光，天上的繁星稀疏辉映。
秋兰丛生于斜斜的长坂，芙蓉遮满了一池渌水。
清波上跃出水底的游鱼，树枝间传来鸟儿的啼声。
大风吹动红色的车轮，马车在风中奔驰如飞。
我们纵情遨游，逍遥自在，好希望能这样过一千年。
注释
公宴：群臣受公家之邀而侍宴。
公子：这里是指曹丕。敬爱：一作“爱敬”。
西园：在邺城（今河北临漳）西。一说指玄武苑。
飞盖：轻便行进飞快的车。
景：指月光。
列宿（xiù）：众星。参（cēn）差（cī）：不齐的样子。
被：覆盖。长坂：斜坡。
朱华：指芙蓉，即荷花。冒：覆盖。
飚（biāo）：回风。丹毂（gǔ）：用红色涂饰的毂。毂，车轮中心的圆木。
辇（niǎn）：古代人拉的车，后多指皇室和贵族所用的车。
飘飖（yáo）：随风飘动。这里用来形容逍遥、游乐。
千秋：千年，意思是一辈子。若斯：如此。

公宴创作背景
曹植的这首诗很可能与曹丕《芙蓉池作》一诗作于同时，当时虽然没有明确的唱和观念，然而从两诗的内容来看，曹植的诗很可能是继曹丕之诗而作的。此诗作于建安中期（210年前后）。此篇记录了由曹丕召集的某次宴会，可见当时邺下诗人集团留连光景、聚会咏诗的面貌。

曹植（192－232），字子建，沛国谯（今安徽省亳州市）人。三国曹魏著名文学家，建安文学代表人物。魏武帝曹操之子，魏文帝曹丕之弟，生前曾为陈王，去世后谥号“思”，因此又称陈思王。后人因他文学上的造诣而将他与曹操、曹丕合称为“三曹”，南朝宋文学家谢灵运更有“天下才有一石，曹子建独占八斗”的评价。王士祯尝论汉魏以来二千年间诗家堪称“仙才”者，曹植、李白、苏轼三人耳。
