李廙为尚书左丞，有清德。其妹，刘晏妻也。晏方秉权，尝诣宅，延至室。晏见其门帘甚弊，乃令人潜度广狭，后以粗竹织成，不加缘饰，将以赠廙。三携至门，不敢发言而去。

译文
李廙担任尚书左丞时，有清廉的美德。他的妹妹是刘晏的妻子，刘晏当时正掌管大权，他曾经拜访李廙，李廙请他到家里坐。刘晏看到李廙的门的帘子十分破旧，就命令手下偷偷地测量门的长和宽，然后用没打磨过的竹子编成帘子，不加修饰，将要把它送给李廙。刘晏多次带着门帘去李廙家，都不敢提这件事就离开了。
