鲜花似锦映垂杨，汉水澄澈碧波漾；春风微微林中吹，一花轻盈吐芬芳。
现在面对江北景，尚且如此心怏怏；去到江南景更美，离情更使魂魄丧。
注释
宇文六：诗人朋友，生平事迹不详。
汉水：长江支流，源出陕西宁强县，流经陕西南部，湖北北部和中部，在武汉市注入长江。
一枝：指一枝花。
即今：当今，现在。
还：尚且。
愁杀：亦作“ 愁煞 ”。谓使人极为忧愁。杀，表示程度深。
送宇文六创作背景
唐代大历年间，常建授盱眙（今属江苏）尉，仕途不得意，后隐湖北东南一带，以山水自娱，放浪诗酒、漫游名山以寄情。此诗是常建在阳春三月从江北汉水送别友人到江南时所写。

送宇文六鉴赏
诗的开头两句“花映垂杨汉水清，微风林里一枝轻”，诗人从岸上和水中两个角度，写出江北春景之美：杨柳毵毵，日丽风和，花柳相映，汉水澄清，微风习习，树叶轻扬。诗人没有把和挚友离别时的春天故意写成一片黯淡，而是如实地写出春景的浓丽，并且着意点染杨柳的风姿，从而暗暗透露出此时此刻分别的难堪之情。同时也点出送别地点、季节和环境，彼有特色。两句写出花、垂杨、水、风、林五种景物，由于组合巧妙，并无堆砌之嫌。笔触所及，广阔而悠远，飘然而来，忽然而去，为下文离别愁情失落气息作铺垫。
第三句“即今江北还如此”，用“如此”收结前两句中的景物和心情，构成一种强烈的反跌，使满眼春光都似黯然失色，春色越浓所牵起的离情别绪更强烈的感觉，透露出诗人怨别愁怀的感伤。用一“还”字，临别的伤感，更见沉重。第四句“愁杀江南离别情”再进一步，此地明媚春光，已使人如此不奈离情，此去江南，江南春色更浓更美，离别之情将更使远行人愁杀，加深沉重的别情。一句实写，一句虚写，将送别双方各限天涯的离情，互相思念的愁苦，触目伤怀，作了深刻的表露。
全诗以淡彩绘景，以重笔写情，结尾点题，天然朴实，率直真诚，毫无妆束之态。以情景交融之妙笔，实虚转化，将临别之际内心的复杂感情描摹得愁杀苦闷。
