你骑着征马，翩翩而去；秋天城中，明月正圆。
匈奴单于你切莫靠近我汉家边塞，如今我都护将军正欲莅临边关。
汉家驿道中，烽火接连燃起，胡地沙多，井泉难寻。
功成之后要献战利品，你此番北去，用不了一年就可以做到这一点。
注释
单（chán）于：指单于都护府，唐代六大都护府之一。辖治碛南突厥部落诸府州，大约相当于今河套以北地区，治所在云中。裴都护：事迹不详。都护：官名，都护府设有大都护、副都护，管辖境内的边防、行政及各族事务。
征：即行，远行。
城秋：一作“秋城”。
单于：这里指少数民族首领。
临边：一作“回边”。
驿：即驿道，此指边防要道。烟火：即烽火。
胡沙：指少数民族居住的沙漠地区。乏：一作“泛”。井泉：一作“水泉”。
献捷：指战胜后所获得的俘虏和战利品。
经年：即一年，长年。

送单于裴都护赴西河鉴赏
崔颢的这首《送单于裴都护赴西河》是一首送别诗，也是一首边塞诗。
此诗开头“征马去翩翩，城秋月正圆”两句写诗人GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>送人远去，而明月正圆，暗寓友人远去后心中无限惆怅。征马，点明裴都护远赴边庭。翩翩，赞其风度。城秋，点明送别地点和时节。
颔联“单于莫近塞，都护欲临边”写裴都护远赴单于都护府镇守边关。这里“单于”既是实指敌人首领，又暗点裴都护所往之地，语义双关。这两句以虚拟的告诫敌人的口吻措辞，告诫敌酋不要轻举妄动，扰犯边关，衬写裴都护强大的声威，谐谑而又豪壮。
颈联“汉驿通烟火，胡沙乏井泉”，边防要道上烽烟四起，表明此时边关形势急迫，又暗寓了裴都护到任后，边关防备严密。胡地黄沙漫天，大漠瀚海，缺乏水泉，自然条件恶劣。“胡沙”一句，既是实写边地之景，又暗寓了都护镇守边关的艰辛。
结尾“功成须献捷，未必去经年”两句写裴都护此去镇守边关，不必经年就能成功献捷，呼应前面“单于莫近塞”，这既是夸赞和祝愿，也是勉励。
这首送别之作，语言朴实，格调刚健高昂，挟幽并慷慨之气，风骨凛然，正如徐献忠所言：“（崔）颢诗气格齐俊，声调倩美，其说塞垣景象，可与明远（鲍照）抗庭。”

崔颢 唐开元年间进士，官至太仆寺丞，天宝中为司勋员外郎。最为人们津津乐道的是他那首《黄鹤楼》，据说李白为之搁笔，曾有“眼前有景道不得，崔颢题诗在上头”的赞叹。《全唐诗》存其诗四十二首。
