山远翠眉长。高处凄凉。菊花清瘦杜秋娘。净洗绿杯牵露井，聊荐幽香。
乌帽压吴霜。风力偏狂。一年佳节过西厢。秋色雁声愁几许，都在斜阳。
浪淘沙·九日从吴见山觅酒鉴赏
“山远”两句，叙景随情移。“翠眉”，青翠的山气。此言秋日重阳本是登高揽胜的好时节，但因为词人心情抑郁，即使远望寒山虽是空蒙蒙地带着青翠欲滴的山气，在他心目中也是感到凄凄凉凉，使他不忍细睹。“菊花”一句，以人拟菊。“杜秋娘”，泛指美丽动人的歌妓。此言秋菊傲霜迎风，枝干细长，好像一位婀娜多姿的歌妓一样楚楚动人。“净洗”两句，房中插菊，点重阳（九日）景色。词人说：我将绿玉杯洗涤得干干净净，并打来清冽的井水放进杯中，插上我为您专门（指吴见山）摘来的菊花，拿来您这儿，让它散发出阵阵清香吧。
“乌帽”两句，写自己已老。言自己虽然用黑色的帽子遮盖住白头发，以免显露出自己的老态来，但是秋风狂劲，仍旧不时地要从头上的“乌帽”中，吹飘出白发来。“一年”一句，直叙去吴见山家饮酒。词人说：我在这一年中的重阳佳节，就在老朋友家的西厢房中醉酒度过去算了。“秋色”两句，写自己心中抑郁，愁闷的原因。“秋色”、“雁声”与“斜阳”，都是词人对景思亲，感慨自身已入暮年却仍羁旅在外的哀愁的根源，所谓触景生情也。故周邦彦《玉楼春》词有“烟中列岫青无数，雁背夕阳红欲暮”之叹；而元马致远的小令《天净沙·秋思》中也有“夕阳西下，断肠人在天涯”的哀伤；李商隐也有“夕阳无限好，只是近黄昏”的哀叹。这些与梦窗此词的结尾两句，何其相似。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
