译文
看那春花鲜艳，竞开着笑迎春风，晚妆后的双脸，像花儿一样的粉红。紧闭了小楼深阁，躲开那春景重重。偏是十五的明月，不怜人离恨别情，又把多情的月光，洒进绣帘窗棂。
情思总是难断，信里也诉过衷情，如今衣上还印满着，泪迹斑斑的檀红。恨不如双飞的春燕，能自由在你屋前飞行。春天就要过去了，春柳的残絮已飘尽，柳条挂满沉重的绿叶，无力再飞花传情。

献衷心·见好花颜色鉴赏
词写深深之恋，颇有李商隐《无题》的韵味。李诗写别后相思，希望有人传书递简：“蓬山此去无多路，青鸟殷勤为探看。”欧词写虽有青鸟传信，却仍不能相唔之苦。
作者表现这种缠绵悱恻之情，出以含蓄之笔，构思跳跃性较大，是其特征。“见好花颜色，争笑东风。双脸上，晚妆同。”这四句无难字，字无僻义，写的是女子貌美如花，其超忽处在忽见春花，忽生联想，轻灵自然，比喻而兼有起兴作用。需要思考的是见者，思者是谁，如系女子，迹近自夸，不免减色，所以突兀而起的一句主语是作为男子的抒情诗主人公。他在无边的春色中看见在东风里摇曳而色泽艳丽的花，就好像又一次目睹了自己所爱的那位女子晚妆后的容颜。可惜一见之后，她孤处深闺，连春光也难以照射进去。他想象她和自己一样别后不能重逢，一定十分痛苦。“三五夜，偏有恨，月明中。”农历十五日夜，月亮圆了，清辉在地，按常情正是令人赏心悦目之际，可她偏有幽恨。这样连用三个三字句便把女子月圆人不团圆的悲感和夜不成眠的苦况含蓄地写出来了，堪称神妙之笔。
如果说上片是写词人眼中、心中的女子，那么下片是写词人自己的“偏有恨”和热望获得幸福生活之情了。从上片的描写看，词人确实是绵绵相思，不能自己。他虽然“信曾通”，但仍无缘相见，一个“曾”字写出了时间之久，失望之大。“满衣犹自染檀红”是睹物伤怀，回忆往事。唐五代妇女涂口唇或晕眉喜用檀。韩偓《余作探使因而有诗》说“檀口消来薄薄红”。汤显祖评此词专论说：“画家七十二色中有檀色，浅赭所合，妇女晕眉色似之。唐人诗词惯喜用此。”作者这句是说当日相唔，女子啼哭时檀红染上了自己的衣服，而今只能空对啼痕了。想到这里，他羡慕起自由自在任意飞翔的双飞燕了：“恨不如双燕，飞舞帘栊。”欧词《贺明朝》下片也说：“碧梧桐锁深深院。谁料得两情，何日教缱绻？羡春来双燕，飞到玉楼，朝暮相见。”它可以移作“恨不如”两句的注释。
