香刹夜忘归，松清古殿扉。

宿龙兴寺译文及注释
译文
造访龙兴寺，夜深忘记了归去；青青古松树，掩映佛殿的大门。
方丈室里宽敞干净，灯火通亮；和尚披衣系着佛珠，吟诵诗文。
心地像阳光般明亮，纯洁透明；佛法如莲花般圣洁，微妙清静。
天女撒下的花朵，飘落佛前；衔花翻飞的鸟儿，离去无声。
注释
龙兴寺：在今湖南省零陵县西南。
香刹：寺院。此指龙兴寺。
忘归：忘返。
方丈室：指寺院住持的居室。
比丘：和尚。
心：禅心。
青莲：青色莲花，佛书中多喻眼睛。喻法：用事例比喻来讲佛法。
天花：天女所散之花。

宿龙兴寺创作背景
綦毋潜一生游宦四方，曾经寄宿过很多寺院。此诗是诗人在龙兴寺过夜有所感而作。

綦毋潜（692-749），字孝通，虔州（今江西南康）人，唐代著名诗人。开元十四年（726年）进士及第，授宜寿（今陕西周至）尉，迁左拾遗，终官著作郎，安史之乱后归隐，游江淮一代，后不知所终。綦毋潜才名盛于当时，与许多著名诗人如：李颀、王维、张九龄、储光羲、孟浩然、卢象、高适、韦应物过从甚密，其诗清丽典雅，恬淡适然，后人认为他诗风接近王维。《全唐诗》收录其诗1卷，共26首，内容多为记述与士大夫寻幽访隐的情趣，代表作《春泛若耶溪》选入《唐诗三百首》。
