段缝，字约之，上元（今江苏江宁）人（《金陵诗徵》卷五）。神宗熙宁中以职方员外郎出知兴国军永兴县。元丰初，改屯田郎中知润州，又易泰州，未赴，改通判阆州，以家贫多病不能远适，乃求分司，遂以朝散大夫致仕。哲宗元祐二年（一○八七）以王觌荐，诏落致仕，差管勾宫观。
