武衍，字朝宗，原籍汴梁（今河南开封），南渡后寓临安（今浙江杭州）清湖河。所居有池亭竹木之胜，命曰适安。有《适安藏拙馀稿》、《适安藏拙乙稿》。理宗淳祐元年（一二四一）自序其集。事见《南宋古迹考》卷下。 武衍诗，以顾氏读画斋《南宋群贤小集》本为底本，新辑集外诗附于卷末。
