（950—1012）歙州歙县人，字宗源。太宗太平兴国五年进士。端拱初为殿中丞，献所著文及《古今类要》。以直史馆改左正言。淳化间屡上书言时政得失，太宗称其任直敢言。真宗初，上疏论契丹事，主张屈己以求安宁。历知同州、福州、荆南、襄州，迁右谏议大夫、判吏部铨。以疾卒。
