宋之瑞，字伯嘉，号樵隐（《天台续集别编》卷五），天台（今属浙江）人。孝宗隆兴元年（一一六三）进士。乾道八年（一一七二）为江阴军教授（明嘉靖《江阴县志》卷一二）。淳熙十三年（一一八六），除宗正寺丞。十五年，为秘书丞。十六年，都大提点坑冶铸钱。光宗绍熙二年（一一九一）使金。历枢密院检详文字、大理少卿，出提举福建常平、提点刑狱。宁宗庆元二年（一○九六）为秘书少监，迁中书舍人，兼实录院同修撰。五年，知宁国府，徙知泉州、江陵府。嘉定初，以龙图阁待制致仕。事见《嘉定赤城志》卷三三，《南宋馆阁续录》卷七、九。今录诗三首。
