南极老人星不孤，轻风洒洒披佳图。青城何来紫烟气，羡门园客无时无，我亦颓焉自放思蓬壶。
年来鹿鹿造物驱，拮据职业形神枯。閒窗展对快硕肤，须眉欲语欣吾徒。
一掌留禁释不辜，一总陪宪饬廉隅。载读高谈稷下与吴歈，滴滴灌顶甘醍醐。
曹刘可役屈宋奴，酒后耳热歌乌乌。翩跹曳履钟山趋，不让当年九老在东都。
道能随物化，身肯要人扶。仆本淄黉一耄夫，蒲姿亦与名贤俱。
五载艰辛东野御，居然滥吹齐之竽。夜行秉烛胡为乎，菊荒三径真为愚。

毕自严，（一作曰岩）字景会（一作景曾），淄川人(今淄博市周村区王村镇万家村）。天启、崇祯年间任户部尚书，掌管全国财政。在财源枯竭、入不敷出的情况下，毕自严精心协调、精打细算，支撑明朝财政近10年，功在社稷。毕自严万历二十年弱冠时进士及第，授松江推官。他年少有大才，尤善于综理复杂的经济事务。先后任刑部主事、工部员外郎、淮徐道参议、河东副使、洮岷兵备参议、陕西右布政使，泰昌元年升为太仆寺卿，跻身九卿之列。
