《白菊杂书四首》鉴赏
原文
黄昏寒立更披襟，露浥清香悦道心。
却笑谁家扃绣户，正薰龙麝暖鸳衾。
四面云屏一带天，是非断得自翛然。
此生只是偿诗债，白菊开时最不眠。
狂才不足自英雄，仆妾驱令学贩舂。
侯印几人封万户，侬家只办买孤峰。
黄鹂啭处谁同听，白菊开时且剩过。
漫道南朝足流品，由来叔宝不宜多。
赏析
司空图是唐代创作咏菊诗数量最多、成就最为显著的诗人之一。他的大部分咏菊诗都是七绝，篇幅虽然不长，但意蕴丰富、含义深刻，显得别有韵致。
这组咏白菊的杂诗共四首，主要内容都是通过赞美白菊花来表达自己的情感与态度。其中第三首写得最好。这里白菊其实只是一个引子，诗人要表达的是自己豁达、洒脱的人生态度。天空中的云层像屏风一样厚实紧密，只留下像一条带子一样的天空，给人以一种较为压抑的感觉，但诗人心中却因对尘世间的是是非非能有清楚的判断而显得悠然自得。与此形成对比的是，白菊花盛开的时候，自己却心事重重，不能顺利入睡。其原因是，诗人此生更看重的是赏菊吟诗、陶冶性灵，没能在菊花开放的时候写一首好诗，总觉得像是欠了别人的债务一样，难怪诗人内心里难以安宁了。这首诗中，白菊花虽然只是一个引子，但诗人对之的喜爱、赞赏之情表露无遗。

司空图（837～908）晚唐诗人、诗论家。字表圣，自号知非子，又号耐辱居士。祖籍临淮（今安徽泗县东南），自幼随家迁居河中虞乡（今山西永济）。唐懿宗咸通十年（869年）应试，擢进士上第，天复四年（904年），朱全忠召为礼部尚书，司空图佯装老朽不任事，被放还。后梁开平二年（908年），唐哀帝被弑，他绝食而死，终年七十二岁。司空图成就主要在诗论，《二十四诗品》为不朽之作。《全唐诗》收诗三卷。
