家临九江水，来去九江侧。
译文：我的家临近九江边，来来往往都在九江附近。
注释：临：靠近。九江：今江西九江市。
同是长干人，生小不相识。
译文：你和我同是长干人，从小不相识真是很遗憾。
注释：长干：地名，在今江苏江宁县。生小：自小，从小时候起。

崔颢 唐开元年间进士，官至太仆寺丞，天宝中为司勋员外郎。最为人们津津乐道的是他那首《黄鹤楼》，据说李白为之搁笔，曾有“眼前有景道不得，崔颢题诗在上头”的赞叹。《全唐诗》存其诗四十二首。
