林中空寂舍，阶下终南山。
译文：林中有我空寂的僧舍，阶下是那连绵的终南。
注释：青龙寺：位于长安之东南，《长安志》：“南门之东青龙寺，本隋灵感寺，582年（开皇二年）立。”青龙寺北枕高原，前对南山，为登眺之绝胜之地。空寂舍：僧人所住的房子。《维摩经》：“毕竟空寂舍。”鸠摩罗什日：障蔽风雨，莫过于舍；灭除众志，莫过于空。空为理宗，以为常宅也。
高卧一床上，回看六合间。
译文： 高卧在绳床之上，放跟望天地之间。
注释： 六合：天地四方。
浮云几处灭，飞鸟何时还。
译文：浮云处处幻灭，飞鸟几时飞还。
注释：飞鸟何时还：这一句用陶渊明《归去来辞》‘‘云无心以出岫，鸟倦飞而知还”句意。
问义天人接，无心世界闲。
译文：问义时天人相接，无心间世界清闲。
谁知大隐者，兄弟自追攀。
译文：有谁知这真正的隐者，让我们兄弟追随相伴。
注释：大隐者：不拘归隐形式而心意真正隐遁的隐者。王康琚诗云：“小隐隐林薮，大隐隐朝市。”

王缙（700-781），字夏卿，本太原祁人，后客河中，唐代诗人，尚书右丞王维之弟。少好学，与兄王维，俱以名闻。举草泽文辞清丽科上第，历拜黄门侍郎，同中书门下平章事，终太子宾客。文笔泉薮，善草隶书，功超薛稷。大历十年（775年）元载所撰唐赠兵部尚书王忠嗣碑，为其所行书。卒年八十二。王缙遗作不多，散文只有表、碑、册等体，意义不大，诗作与王维的风格相似，具有一种平淡清新之美。事迹收录于《金石录》《唐书本传》《述书赋注》。
